Every day, Par Hawaii produces and delivers the fuels that keeps our islands running – a responsibility we take seriously as part of ensuring energy security for Hawai’i. We also fuel people in another way by providing the drinks, snacks, and food that keep our loyal Hele customers on the move. The commitment to the communities we live and work in goes far beyond our business activities. We are dedicated to strengthening our communities by supporting critical challenges such as homelessness, access to health care, preserving culture and traditions, and championing public education.

These are big issues that we cannot address on our own. Thatʻs why we join other organizations in supporting Hawaii’s United Way (AUW). When you make a pledge to AUW, your contribution supports more than 300 different nonprofit organizations that are committed to forming a safety net to make sure everyone in Hawaii receives the care and attention they deserve. Last year, Par Hawaii helped to make a difference in the community by giving a total of $69,734, a combination of contributions from employees and our company. This year, the needs of the community have increased and your support for Hawaii’s United Ways is just as critical.

This campaign, Par Hawaii will match the first $25,000 from our employees. You will be able to make your pledge online to United Way from October 8 to November 14.

You may also designate a category or specific nonprofit organization that you would like your pledge to support. If you prefer, you may also complete a traditional pledge form.
