Aloha Par Hawaii Team, 

Every day, Par Hawaii makes and distributes the fuels our customers need to keep our islands on the move. It’s one of our most important priorities. But we do much more than this. In addition to energy security, we tackle homelessness, access to health care, food insecurity, disaster preparedness, and other challenging issues.  

These are big issues that we cannot address on our own. That’s why we join other organizations in supporting Hawaii’s United Ways. When you make a pledge to United Way, your contribution supports more than 300 different nonprofit organizations that are committed to forming a safety net to make sure everyone in Hawaii receives the care and attention they deserve.  

Last year, the Par Hawaii helped to make a difference in the community by giving a total of $69,038, a combination of contributions from employees and our company. This year, the needs of the community have increased and your support to United Way is just as critical. 

This year, our goal is to raise $75,000 and exceed last year’s total. You can make your pledge online to United Way from October 16 to November 22. 

You may also designate a category or specific nonprofit organization that you would like your pledge to support. If you prefer, you may also complete a traditional pledge form.
